A solution must include
Completion requirements • There is exactly one current Bagholder. • Users can take the bag from the current holder through a clear game mechanic. • Taking the bag gets progressively harder, more expensive in fictional or testnet value, or otherwise more difficult, by transparent rules. • Previous Bagholders appear in a public history. • The game works in a normal browser. • Points, play money or testnet tokens only. • Core code is open source. • An admin or reset mechanism for testing and moderation.
Rules • No real-money wagering. • No token marketed as an investment. • No deceptive claims of profit or returns. • No hidden odds or hidden house advantage. • No production smart contract controlling real user funds is needed to complete it. • The winner receives the Bagholder.lol domain, transferred to them once the win is confirmed, along with any bounty.
A submission only qualifies if every mandatory requirement is met. Evidence must be independently reviewable: a screenshot alone is not enough where a live URL, public transaction, source repository, original file or private verification can reasonably be supplied. We may ask for more evidence where authenticity is unclear. Fraudulent evidence, impersonation, unsafe conduct or manufactured activity invalidates the submission.
How it’s verified: Live demo URL; Public repository; Video showing at least three successive Bagholder changes; Written explanation of the rules and economy; Evidence that no real-money deposits or cash-value prizes are required.
The first valid solution wins.
The first solution that meets every criterion wins. No end date: open until solved.
Money is held in 75-day rounds. If a round ends without a winner, everyone who added money gets their bounty money back on their card. A bounty under $50 is refunded instead of paid out.
