Misleading charts are everywhere: news, adverts, social media. A short, clear video that teaches the main tricks would make a lot of people harder to fool.

A solution must include

  1. A public video, free to watch, on YouTube or similar
  2. Between 4 and 6 minutes long
  3. Covers at least: truncated axes, cherry-picked time ranges, misleading scales or areas, and correlation presented as causation
  4. Shows a real or realistic example of each trick, and the honest version beside it
  5. No product promotion or affiliate links
