UK Bin Collection Data turns council websites with no API into clean JSON, and it powers lots of Home Assistant setups. It is run by volunteers, councils keep changing their sites, and issues like 403s and “no valid collection dates” keep piling up. Help keep it alive.

A solution must include

  1. At least five open council issues fixed, or new councils added
  2. Pull requests merged into robbrad/UKBinCollectionData
  3. Each fix includes the project’s required test data (postcode or UPRN)
  4. Passes the project’s CI
  5. The linked issue is closed by the merge
