A solution must include

  1. Based on a real, commonly received UK government or council letter, with personal details removed or invented
  2. Includes the original and the redesign side by side
  3. Within 10 seconds a reader can tell what the letter is about, whether they need to act, and by when
  4. Keeps every legally required piece of information from the original
  5. Released free to reuse (e.g. Creative Commons)

How it’s verified: Before and after images or PDF; A list matching each piece of information in the original to where it appears in the redesign.

Money is held in 75-day rounds. If a round ends without a winner, everyone who added money gets their bounty money back on their card. A bounty under $50 is refunded instead of paid out.
